Lamett, the producer and distributor of parquet and vinyl floors, makes a grand statement during the Flanders Flooring Days with an impressive new building featuring numerous advantages, including a product and development center.
Over the past two years, the Lamett site has undergone a complete transformation. Part of the existing building was demolished to make way for an impressive new construction, featuring a showroom, quiet workspaces, and brand-new loading docks. Additionally, the existing offices were connected to the new building via a walkway, resulting in a modern and striking appearance along the E17 highway.
Moreover, the site was substantially expanded with the addition of the former Veys garage, which has since been transformed into the Lamett Product Center (LPC).
The new construction houses a brand-new experience showroom. Warm colors, soft materials, and unique indoor plants create a homely atmosphere with a view over the Flemish countryside. The design incorporates the latest trends, such as organic shapes present in both the design and furniture. The bright showroom allows customers to view large floor samples under both natural and artificial light, providing a realistic representation.
On the second floor of the new building, there are offices, meeting rooms, quiet workspaces, and a beautiful open kitchen. A 13-meter-long table accommodates all Lamett employees comfortably, fostering a sense of unity as One Team. Additionally, customers and suppliers can utilize this space to work or relax, reflecting Lamett's commitment to facilitating optimal working conditions for both employees and stakeholders.
Finally, the former Veys garage was transformed into the Lamett Product Center (LPC), dedicated to innovation and product development. By establishing this product center, Lamett aims to continue innovating and providing educational opportunities. Specific training sessions are held to share knowledge about the products and correct installation methods with distributors and installers, ensuring the best results for every project.
